About

Kansas roots.
Client-focused advocacy.

As a Kansas native and Manhattan High School graduate, I’ve always carried the values of hard work, integrity, and community that define this region. After earning my degree from Baker University, I continued at the Oklahoma City University School of Law, where I graduated cum laude with my Juris Doctor.

Law school gave me the tools—but it’s people who give me purpose. I know how uncertain life can feel after an accident or legal dispute. My approach is simple — listen carefully, prepare thoroughly, and stand with you every step of the way.

I practice at Smith Law Firm in Topeka—the firm where I began my legal career—serving clients throughout Northeast Kansas, including Topeka, Junction City, and Manhattan.

Career path

From legal assistant to licensed attorney

A path built inside the firm I now practice with—learning the work from the ground up before taking the oath.

  1. Legal assistant & law clerk

Smith Law Firm · Topeka, KS

Began my career at Smith Law Firm supporting case preparation, client communication, and the day-to-day work of a busy personal injury and litigation practice. That foundation shaped how I serve clients today.

  2. Law school & licensed legal intern

Oklahoma City University School of Law

Earned my J.D. cum laude, recognized on the Faculty Honor Roll and Dean’s List. Served as a Licensed Legal Intern and continued building practical skills alongside rigorous academic work.

  3. Admitted to practice

    Kansas · 2025

Took the state and federal oaths as a newly admitted Kansas attorney and returned to Smith Law Firm as a fully licensed, bar-certified attorney—committed to the same clients and communities that started this journey.
